Trip-summary

Part of  a 8-days hike around the two tripoints of Andorra and neighbouring bordermarkers with in between public transport from Auzat to Porte Puymorens.

A long day with many highlights. Especially standing on the Pic de Camp Colomer with its 360 degrees panorama of the mountains. Cloudless sky, hardly any wind.

Walking: 8 hours. Ascending: ± 1200 meters. Descending: ± 900 meters.

Starting  at 08.30 .  Luc from Belgium was my  1-day-companion

Approaching the Portella Blanca, the "white  pass" with bm427

And Luc kindly made  this  picture of me.
Together we descended to Barraca dels Espavers where we parted.

In 2 hours I climb to the Portella d'Engors and from there I follow the ridge to Pic de Camp Colomer.
There's this faboulous view on the Portella Blanca and the Andorran mountains.
I kept following the ridge to  Portella de Meranges with bm428.
At this picture I'm looking back at the ridge.

Bm428, the number is  hard to read.
From the Portella de Meranges I descend to this camping-spot.

It has been a wonderful day but now it's cooling down pretty quickly.
