Between bm037 and 038 - at 250 meters from bm037, there is another unnumbered intermediate bordermarker.
(according to Jacques Koleck)

Further on - in the direction of bm041 - there are two more unnumbered (and unmentionned in the treaties) crosses.

I spotted them in januaray 2013 on the TopoPirineos-map and their existence was confirmed by Charles Darrieu. And he sent me these pictures.
Moreover they are mentionned in Martínex Ruiz's article (see literature-list)

This one is ± 25m SSW of bm040.

And there's even a third one - discovered by Jacques Koleck in 2013.

Though there are no inscriptions nor a cross, it's on the straight borderline between bm40-41-42 and apparently installed - according to Jacques -as a bordermarker. It's broken in half.

On two flat stones besides bm042, there are crosses engraved. A discovery of Jacques Koleck.

In the background we see a nearly flat stone which contains a cross

At the other end of this tarmac surface - where besides the tree a trail goes uphill - the submarkers bm044a to bm044l start.

They were placed in 1988 to give a more precise delimitation. The reason is unknown.

The treaty involved can be found in this pdf-document

Also in 1988, three unnumberd marker-plates were placed at ground level on the broad pass with an E and F on them.

I didn't see or look for them on my first visit in 2009 and I was happy to be able to show the pictures of Charles & Josette Darrieu.

On this picture the first one.

And here in more detail.

Charles and Josette Darrieu couldn't find the third plate, assuming that it had been covered by the tarmac.

It's location: 32,9 meters from the second one. That's more or less under the red car.
